Finish the story begins with:

“As her mount shifted uneasily under her, she grasped the brim of her old felt Stetson, gazed upwards and remembered Jean Pierre.”

Lucienne missed Jean Pierre, he had been fun when she visited Paris. She mourned the day he had left for Brazil, recruited by a mysterious organisation, Jean Pierre seduced with a large sum of money had promised to return and marry her when the work was finished.
Jean Pierre had served for three years in the rough tough French Foreign Legion, then recruited by the Brigadier’s organisation when he was discharged. Assigned to Marg’s team, he was present when the booby-trapped door exploded, he was thrown backwards by the force of the explosion and lying prone, blood gushing from a wound. Marg called for medical help as Don Fernando and and his team emptied the contents of the strongroom while the Little Bird helicopter lifted the badly injured Jean Pierre to safety.
The hidden cache of cash and precious metals was removed as a huge blast finally destroyed the complex.

Finish the story begins with:

“The cemetery spread along the area known as Devils Abode.”

Very few people attended the funeral of the wealthy Maxwell Dickus, a lot of people were startled, but glad to hear this news. The feeling was this parasite had gone to the right resting place and would feel at home in this particular abode.
The Brigadier was shocked when his interrogation unit was penetrated and an assassin killed Maxwell Dickus. The guards were under suspicion and interrogated.
Acting upon the information gleaned from the drone, Don Fernando’s team smashed into the hidden complex and after some fierce fighting were now in control. Marg, reunited with Don Fernando and Bella made arrangements to break into a strong room and strip the ill-gotten gains.
Dr. Dickus was missing, it was believed he had linked up with the mysterious Luigi and was now in hiding.
Marg, shocked and saddened that Paul Strang’s helicopter team were dead, patiently waited………Unexpectedly the boobytrap…….

Finish the story begins with:

“The family had no idea that little Luigi would grow up to be…”

Public enemy No 1 in his home country. The baby in his family, he had been brought up with everyone making a glorious fuss of him. In his schooldays he was cold-bloodedly cruel, he became feared and hated by his peers as he was reviled for his violent behaviour. He was hunted relentlessly by the authorities to answer charges of many murders and unexplained deaths. Now a shadowy figure he lived in the middle of the Brazilian jungle.
Dr Ferdinand Dickus and his brother Maxwell were hand in glove with this villain in the production and distribution of designer drugs, a hugely profitable business.
It was feared any survivors of the crashed helicopter were now certainly dead.
Marg was in conference with the Brigadier following the death of Maxwell Dickus, who was assassinated in the middle of the night by an infiltrator. The drone had revealed mysterious tracks leading ………

Finish the story begins with:

I see absolutely everything.”

The old man who had guided them through the jungle waved the hieroglyph of a huge eye and excitedly made the motions of flight. Marg was amazed and contacted the Brigadier.
“I have an idea if we send up a silent drone containing a camera with infra-red heat seeking equipment we will find the hidden labs and the helicopter survivors in one sweep.”
One of his senior officers laughed loudly and asked disparaging.
“If a man-powered helicopter can’t locate the labs, how can a drone?”
“The silence is the key!” Exclaimed Marg. “The drone cannot be heard as it approaches.”
Fighting broke out in the distance and Don Fernando was soon in contact reporting some success in the search as one of the dead renegades had made a dying remark about the captives.
He spat out out the words. “Now your friends will die.”
Marg said. “We will……………..

Finish the story begins with:

Where did they go?”

Where did they go indeed, the lead- searcher thought sadly, as the wreckage of the crashed copter was painstakingly combed for clues.
The members of the search party were very puzzled at the lack of bodies. The helicopter had obviously crash landed and been abandoned hurriedly.
There was no evidence whatsoever to lead them in a likely direction.
Had they been captured by Dickus’s men?
Dr. Ferdinand, the villainous elder Dickus brother, sent a message to the Brigadier asking for a parley, that was when the second little bird helicopter
swooped into his complex and found nothing .
Meanwhile the squeezing of the infamous Maxwell Dickus continued unabated.

Marg was turning on the charm outrageously, to inveigle herself into his confidence, and for all his bragging he was cleverly revealing nothing.
Where was Dickus’s headquarters?
Where was he directing the operations from?
Then the news arrived, Don Fernando and his team ……….

Finish the story begins with:

The team employed the use of Nightshade to get the information they wanted from their captive.”

Talk man or we will kill you!”

Vodka and tomato juice with fried eggplant was thought to be killing him with kindness.

Marg was very curious and not a little excited. Her favourite variety of Nightshade in a deep fried state, usually came with battered cod and would be torture for her strict diet, however in the form of Belladonna, glycoalkaloids are deadly.

At last Marg was face-to-face with one of the notorious Dickus brothers. Maxwell was captured and in the hands of the Brigadier who was making every effort to extract some critical information from the captive. Marg was needed to provide a feminine touch. It was well known that Maxwell Dickus was amenable to bragging and it was thought an attractive woman would be able to befriend him to loosen his tongue.

News of the crashed Little Bird helicopter arrived, some wreckage was recovered……

Finish the story begins with:

He thought he found the perfect hiding spot.”

Marg laughed out loud when this cryptic message was delivered to her iPhone, from Hillary, her PA and partner in the UK. Her favourite feline was creating havoc in the house as usual.

The smile quickly died when she realised this message had a dual interpretation. The fake Professor was back in England and revealing much, he was making a deal with the Brigadier’s office and warning against the operation at Miners Hill.
“It’s a very sophisticated trap, financed by drug money”

Meanwhile as the team approached the target from several different directions with a fusillade of fire power, including hand-held rocket launchers, they moved in on the attack. The fighting was fierce as the ground teams moved in. Marg and her team with Delphine at the controls of the little bird helicopter, were shocked to hear the news that Paul Strang’s helicopter was shot down and missing.

Finish the story begins with:

“The petroglyphs told the story of an unusual event.”

“What sort of an event?” Marg enquired.
They had encountered an old man on the track. This man was a guide and was describing the inhabitants of the Miners Hill complex. He produced a copy of a hieroglyphical representation of petroglyphs scratched on the wall of a cave discovered in the area before the miners arrived. The event referred to a very bad omen that frightened the original inhabitants away. This limited the teams choice of a guide.
Paul Strang and Delphine were to fly two little bird helicopters and land some specially selected operatives. One approaching from the north and the other from the south. Col Jack and Paul would lead the north party and Marg with Delphine would take the south approach. Don Fernando with Bella and her team would first make a frontal assault and attack the complex grabbing the attention of the guards.
A warning sounded …..

Finish the story begins with:

“Delphine always wanted to pilot her father’s plane and when he forgot his keys on her tenth birthday, she knew that taking off would be easy.”

The plane taxied along the runway and crashed into the hanger, costing her father thousands of pounds. In spite of this she had never lost her obsession with aircraft and she was now a very accomplished pilot.
The Brigadier introduced Delphine to Marg and her team and outlined his plans for the assault on the Miners Hill complex.
“I have reliable information of a huge stash of bullion and cash secreted here, the proceeds of drug trafficking. The object is to smash the drug factory and capture or kill the Dickus brothers. This will save thousands of young lives from the evils of drug addiction. The rewards for success are huge as the proceeds will be shared in bonuses for all.”
Then from the depths of the Brazilian jungle a wolf howled eerily, breaking the silence of the jungle.
Doctor Dickus was in the complex with his pet American wolverine.

“The barista shook his head. That hedge couldn’t have moved closer overnight. Could it?”

“He was serious too. A jumped up bartender who started quoting Shakespeare’s ‘Macbeth’!”
Angelo was relating an amusing anecdote to the gagged and bound so called Professor. “He was as drunk as a bar fly swimming in a gin bottle!”
A series of grunts and a feeble attempt to shake off the ropes binding him tightly, was the reply.
Angelo was laughing loudly as a helicopter arrived to take them to Sao Paulo.
Marg and her team had met up with the Brigadier, who was unusually taking a personal interest in this operation, with Colonel Jack and Don Fernando. They were having a major conference with the other team leaders on how to approach the Miners Hill complex.
The Brigadier updated the assembled operatives and began to outline the plan of attack. “We have infiltrated the Dickus brothers organisation and our way will be made easier from inside the complex.”
