Finish the story begins with:

“The A&B Building was made entirely from driftwood.”
“Can you believe that?” Delphine laughed pointing to the facade. “Just chunks of washed-up wood!”
“Hey, look at that date! 1899, I must get a shot of the front, to e-mail home.”
Angelo and Delphine were meeting a local businessman in front of this historic building to hire a helicopter and ask for help with local information.
After several attacks on members of the Brigadiers organisation, Angelo and Delphine were ordered to Skagway in Alaska.
A tipoff from Brazil revealed that Dr Dickus had returned to this part of the world and was in the process of recruiting mercenaries to attack the Brigadier’s fortress on the Mysterious Island and attempt to recover the lost bullion.
Luigi was building another military-style force in Brazil, little realising he was was under observation.

“She lived in a mango tree.”
As Mango trees go, this was a very fruitful place to live. The Brazilian Mango is very profitable and this huge fruit farm was now under new ownership

Finish the story begins with:

“From her small balcony, the witch watched the world go by.”

Lucienne’s Mother sat watching and waiting for news. All the omens were bad, the crystal ball was cloudy, which was a very bad sign and the tea-leaves predicted a disaster.
Jean Pierre although badly injured and back home in France, would recover. The preparations for the wedding were underway funded by a bank draft forwarded from France, but she still felt uneasy. He was still tied to the Brigadiers organisation, would he be able to retire and get free from his previous life?
Marg, Delphine and Angelo were with several other operatives in a high power meeting with the Brigadier and Don Fernando on the Mysterious Island. The feeling was that all operations should be suspended for a while and everyone should lie low. The Brigadier was very concerned about any ongoing alliance between Dr Dickus and nasty Luigi.
Suddenly Marg received an urgent message from Hillary in London…..

Very few people attended the funeral of the wealthy Maxwell Dickus, a lot of people were startled, but glad to hear this news. The feeling was this parasite had gone to the right resting place and would feel at home in this particular abode.

“The family had no idea that little Luigi would grow up to be…”

Public enemy No 1 in his home country. The baby in his family, he had been brought up with everyone making a glorious fuss of him. In his schooldays he was cold-bloodedly cruel, he became feared and hated by his peers as he was reviled for his violent behaviour. He was hunted relentlessly by the authorities to answer charges of many murders and unexplained deaths. Now a shadowy figure he lived in the middle of the Brazilian jungle.
Dr Ferdinand Dickus and his brother Maxwell were hand in glove with this villain in the production and distribution of designer drugs, a hugely profitable business.
It was feared any survivors of the crashed helicopter were now certainly dead.

The old man who had guided them through the jungle waved the hieroglyph of a huge eye and excitedly made the motions of flight. Marg was amazed and contacted the Brigadier.
“I have an idea if we send up a silent drone containing a camera with infra-red heat seeking equipment we will find the hidden labs and the helicopter survivors in one sweep.”
One of his senior officers laughed loudly and asked disparaging.
“If a man-powered helicopter can’t locate the labs, how can a drone?”
“The silence is the key!” Exclaimed Marg. “The drone cannot be heard as it approaches.”
Fighting broke out in the distance and Don Fernando was soon in contact reporting some success in the search as one of the dead renegades had made a dying remark about the captives.
He spat out out the words. “Now your friends will die.”
Marg said. “We will……………..
