Finish the story begins with:

“Delphine always wanted to pilot her father’s plane and when he forgot his keys on her tenth birthday, she knew that taking off would be easy.”

The plane taxied along the runway and crashed into the hanger, costing her father thousands of pounds. In spite of this she had never lost her obsession with aircraft and she was now a very accomplished pilot.
The Brigadier introduced Delphine to Marg and her team and outlined his plans for the assault on the Miners Hill complex.
“I have reliable information of a huge stash of bullion and cash secreted here, the proceeds of drug trafficking. The object is to smash the drug factory and capture or kill the Dickus brothers. This will save thousands of young lives from the evils of drug addiction. The rewards for success are huge as the proceeds will be shared in bonuses for all.”
Then from the depths of the Brazilian jungle a wolf howled eerily, breaking the silence of the jungle.
Doctor Dickus was in the complex with his pet American wolverine.

WINNER TAKES ALL

by John Yeo

The peace and serenity of the stables was absolutely perfect for the harassed and very famous celebrity singer Feline Foxglove. Of course her privacy was always very important to her and she spent a huge portion of her very high earnings to make sure she was never disturbed. Feline had many secrets to hide, most were well buried in the distant past, except for her habitual use of a very dangerous illegal substance. Her very trustworthy P.A. Mary Stavans was responsible for obtaining her supplies, and she never failed to come up with the goods.

Feline’s stables were famous throughout the racing world for thoroughbred racehorses and she would excitedly back them all to win, every time they ran. Sam Soames her bookmaker was used to paying her out and usually made money elsewhere by laying off the bets.

Until Mary’s call……

“Boss, we have a problem, I need to see you urgently”

The blackmailer died by unknown hands as the starting pistol went off and the cry went up …..”They’re Off!”

Feline smiled winningly.

AN EVEN MATCH

by John Yeo

“Winner takes all”, said Wide Willy, leader of the local gang. Daring Dick leader of a rival gang smiled with disbelief.
“You will concede everything if we win, including Diana the darling of the town”
Willy nodded, “If Diana agrees I will concede all my love for her as well as our business assets, but if you lose we take control of your patch entirely.”
The tennis court behind the flats was rarely used, until Doreen and Len decided 6 year old James would be brought up, living and breathing tennis. Now 18, James’s talent was about to be revealed to the world. They were approached by Dick, who had been informed of James’s unbeatable prowess. Willy was confident as his player was county champion.
The match was fiercely contested, after 4 sets the players were even at 6 games all. Suddenly a helicopter landed and surrounded by police, all members of the two gangs were arrested on drugs charges.
18 year old tennis prodigy James ran away with Diana. All bets were off!

First 50 Words~The Money~Two for the price of one

 SECRET MEMO

We have a cure for most of the illness that plagues mankind, a very cheap easy to make remedy that would revolutionise medicine if we were to release our patent. We cannot make money from this product so we sit on it. Hide it away, we pay many millions of our profits to silence the inventor and keep our shareholders happy. We buy their silence with the money.

LOAN SHARKS

Alphonse and Arthur were loan sharks, they would lend out small sums of money for very high rates of interest, usually to very poor people who were in a financial mess. They would collect their money with threats, they always took two very fierce dogs wherever the went. One day they were found dead in a pond covered in frog spawn. They had been killed for the money they extorted by frogmen vigilantes. The dogs were tamed by the frogs.
