Two climbers were making their way along rugged, rocky slopes. The hills and valleys spread before them from little used trails, leading upwards, always upwards.
They turned into a large natural plateau covered by green succulent plants, containing a hidden valley, with a stream of pure clear water running through the rocky terrain.
“We will, pitch camp here for the night and rest up.” said Lloyd.
“Great!” Replied his best friend, Hamilton nodding in agreement.
They had been climbing for about three hours now and he was ready for a rest.
Chasing the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, the two friends were on holiday together searching for the rare flying jewels of Nepal.
After a few beers around the campfire and a meal from various tins they were soon asleep.
The next morning they knew they had reached their goal
Everywhere, as far as the eye could see the incredible Cactus plants had burst into a fantastic sea of succulent beauty, heavily scented floral splendour. They were covered in beautiful butterflies sipping nectar from these glorious blooms. The flying jewels had arrived.
